The Smart Card is used in the same way but here the application is attached with the smart card readers and smart cards are issued to various employees. This card actually is Read/Write card that can be reused.

Time Attendance System

The Time attendance system is important to any organization in many respects. We have analyzed this system with many business organizations and it was statistics, which shows that automating this segment actually accelerates the Business/Work flow of that organization.

The human resource is actually the heart of any organization but using that human resource in a very optimize manner proves the proper growth. Although this growth is not affected by the people who are serious to the work and those who knows that the growth of the company is directly proportional to the their growth. Rather some people in the organization malpractice and try to exploit the company situation and resources for their own growth. And if any shortfall in the work or growth they try to hide behind the facts.

Now we can at least bind all the employees by logging each person In’s and Out’s. This process can be done in two ways:

  1. Simple Automation
  2. Smart Card Automation
  3. Biometric (Finger Print Scanner) Automation.

Simple automation: (can be extended to the Smart Card and Biometric treatments)

Here the computer is based on one place and each employee is given an ID. When he arrives he can log in and when he leaves he can log out. His attendance would be logged. 

Now the above is same for the other two i.e. Smart Card and Biometric applications. The only difference is of the authentication of the same log In’s and Out’s.

And In Biometrics the authentication is special because the log ins and outs are of the actual person that are actually present in physical. The smart card still can be malpractices as any other person could carry the same and it would work as good as the person is actually present physically.

Functionality:

The System that we propose implements the track of the following occurrences:

  • Maintenance of the Employees Documents.
  • Managing Attendance, Breaks, Leaves, Short Leaves, Lunch
  • The Leave Applications.

The System can also be integrated with Payroll. All The features of payroll can be included in the package.
